The Brokerage segment is principally engaged in non-asset-based freight brokerage services, where it outsources the transportation of loads to third-party carriers. The Company's fleet consists of approximately 6,100 tractors and approximately 12,600 trailers, including approximately 1,400 tractors provided by independent contractors.
