The Company's development product candidate, tildacerfont, is a non-steroidal therapy that offers disease control for patients suffering from congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH). Tildacerfont is a potent and selective, non-steroidal, oral, small-molecule antagonist of the corticotropin-releasing hormone receptor 1 (CRF1) receptor, which is a regulator of the production of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH). Its CAHmelia-203, is a placebo-controlled, double-blind Phase IIb clinical trial in adult patients with CAH with poor disease control. Its CAHmelia-204, is a second Phase IIb clinical trial in adult patients with CAH with good disease control focused on glucocorticoid reduction. It has also conducted two Phase IIa clinical trials of tildacerfont in adult patients with CAH on stable glucocorticoid therapy.
