The Company operates through four segments: Real estate commercial and residential lending, Infrastructure lending, Real estate property, and Real estate investing and servicing. The Real estate commercial and residential lending segment is engaged primarily in originating, acquiring, financing and managing commercial first mortgages, non-agency residential mortgages, subordinated mortgages, mezzanine loans, preferred equity, commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) and other real estate and real estate-related debt investments. The Infrastructure lending segment is engaged primarily in originating, acquiring, financing and managing infrastructure debt investments. The Real estate property segment is engaged primarily in acquiring and managing equity interests in stabilized commercial real estate properties, including multifamily properties and commercial properties.
